Responsibilities

IMPAQ International is seeking Experts for an anticipated USAID/Kosovo-funded, 3-year Access to Justice program aimed at improving the access to justice for citizens of Kosovo, inclusive of disadvantaged and marginalized groups, through strengthening the institutions, actors, and processes for providing legal aid, services, and information. IMPAQ is seeking a qualified Chief of Party, Deputy Chief of Party, Subject Matter Experts, and Program Management/Finance and Administration Experts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience working in Kosovo (and other countries in the Balkans region) specifically working to improve access to justice for the poor, marginalized, and under-represented groups;
  • At minimum a Masters’ degree or other advanced degree in Law, International Relations, democracy and governance, political science, and in humanitarian assistance;
  • Proven experience working with USAID/Kosovo and other agencies required, preferably in the DRG context;
  • Proven record of excellent management, leadership and decision-making, communication and interpersonal skills, including being an articulate speaker and sympathetic listener;
  • Demonstrated ability to assemble, quickly and effectively manage a highly-skilled, interdisciplinary team; to interact with and lead a broad range of governmental and non-governmental actors and institutions across sectors; and to contribute to detailed, organized, timely, activities; and
  • Professional fluency in English, Albanian, and Serbian languages required.
